Mountainhold

Deep within the unyielding peaks, the Mountainhold dwarves carve their legacy in stone and steel. Fortress strongholds hewn from living rock echo with the roar of forge fires and the ring of masterful hammerstrokes, as smiths and miners extract veins of mithril and adamantine from the mountain’s veins. Governed by time honored clans and counsel of stalwart elders, they honor their heritage through songhammers ballads hammered into metal and stonebound oaths sworn in iron lit halls. Each corridor and grand chamber reflects their devotion to permanence, resilience, and craftsmanship, drawing traders from distant lands to marvel at rune-forged mail and diamond-edged axes born of Mountainhold’s unbreakable spirit.

Cities and Settlements: Mountainhold cities are built within or atop mountains, showcasing grand halls carved into stone and reinforced with iron. These settlements prioritize defense, with towering walls and intricate tunnels connecting the fortresses. The dwarves value stability and permanence, reflected in their architecture and governance, often ruled by ancient clans with strict hierarchies. Their cities are also hubs for trade in metalwork, gemstones, and other valuable resources.
