Roaming fleets of wind-scarred vessels, the Sky Nomads carve their path among cirrus towers and storm-wracked horizons, their lives bound to the endless breath of the upper air. Each airship is a self-contained hamlet, its decks ringed with rigging, lanterns, and canvas bellows, where navigators chart cloud-roads by star and wind-shift, and engineers coax lift from steam and arcane currents. Communities form and dissolve on the wing, bound only by shared wonder and the promise of new frontiers, festivals of balloon releases and aerial jousts turn the sky into a carnival of freedom. Leadership is earned in gale-rift rescues and masterful cloud-sailing, and every nomad carries the restless spirit of adventure, chasing horizons that never stand still.
Cities and Settlements: Sky Nomads live aboard fleets of airships that serve as their mobile cities. These floating settlements are self-sustaining, with each airship fulfilling a specific role such as farming, trade, or defense. The fleets are constantly on the move, navigating the skies in search of new horizons, trade opportunities, or safe havens from dangerous storms. Social structures are fluid, with leadership earned through experience and skill in navigation and airship maintenance. Festivals are held mid-flight, celebrating freedom and the open skies.
