Each manual has specific requirements for creating a particular type of golem, including the time, material cost, and magic involved. Once a golem is created using the manual, the book is consumed in eldritch flames, and the golem is brought to life when its ashes are sprinkled upon it.
To decipher and use a manual, you must be a spellcaster with at least two 5th-level spells. A creature that cannot use a manual of golems and attempts to read it takes 6d6 psychic damage.

Manual of Iron Golems: The instructions for creating an iron golem are found in this tome. The process takes 120 days, and materials worth 100.000 gp are required. After the golem’s creation, the manual is consumed in flames, and the golem is under your control.
