Genasi are mortals infused with the elemental powers of the planes, born from the union of humans and elemental beings like genies or through exposure to powerful elemental forces. Their heritage is evident in their appearance, which often includes physical traits reminiscent of their elemental ancestry, such as flaming hair, skin like stone, eyes glowing like embers, or voices that echo like the wind. Genasi often feel a strong connection to their elemental nature, influencing their personalities and abilities. While some embrace their unique heritage and become champions of their element, others struggle to find balance between their elemental and mortal natures.

Genasi traits

Age: Genasi reach adulthood around 20 years old and live somewhat longer than humans, up to 150 years.

Size: Your size is Medium. Genasi have builds similar to humans, standing between 1.50 meters and 2 meters tall.

Speed: Your base walking speed is 6 sqr. (9m).

Natural Adaptation: Choose one of the following elemental ancestries. Your choice grants you features as detailed below.

• Air Genasi:
• Unending Breath: You can hold your breath indefinitely while you’re not incapacitated.
• Lightning Resistance: You have resistance to lightning damage.
• Earth Genasi:
• Earth Walk: You can move across difficult terrain made of earth or stone without expending extra movement.
• Poison Resistance: You have resistance to poison damage.
• Fire Genasi:
• Flaming Body: You can make your body emit a faint firelight, illuminating your surroundings. This creates a 4 sqr. (6m) radius of bright light and an additional 12 sqr. (18m) of dim light.
• Fire Resistance: You have resistance to fire damage.
• Water Genasi:
• Amphibious: You can breathe underwater.
• Swim Speed: You have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
